Primary source of inspiration and occasional insight.

Ropinsky’s early works have exploited persistent display bugs (e.g. errors) in Flash browser plugins and players for visual purposes. Those bugs allowed to invent a certain kind of rough aesthetics into the otherwise all too slick looking world of vector based images.
Those bugs and randomization have lead to something Ropinsky calls a digital original.
